Youth Spirit Artwork will be holding our first ever Poetry Slam on Sat. Nov. 3rd at 4pm featuring the work of YSA young poets and artists. Creative Action! Stand Up for the Right to Sit Down!
Berkeley’s Stand Up for the Right to Sit Down Coalition will hold it’s second creative action this Sunday May the 22nd at Noon in front of the Berkeley BART at Shattuck Square and Shattuck Avenue in downtown Berkeley. The coalition will hold a “chair-a-pillar” in solidarity with homeless people.
Participants are asked to bring chairs to use in the action. Youth Spirit Artworks will be bringing at least ten colorful “extra” chairs for those who are unable to bring their own!
